 Maestros new signing is Tony Gilbert
There maybe thousands of miles between Maestro Records recording studio in Brighton and their new signing Tony Gilbert, who lives in Queensland Australia, but it hasn’t stopped them joining forces to produce a great new album for sequence dancing. From the catchy opening track, "Istanbul", as a swing, to the tango track, "Jezebel", each number is in strict tempo and you can listen to tracks by visiting Maestros web site.

 Larry Green - Fields of Gold will appeal to those who are looking for a modern keyboard sound. It is an exciting collection of 20 popular tracks, including the "Strictly Come Dancing" theme tune as a mambo and the Chicago musical hit "Cell Block Tango" doubled up with "Sunset Boulevard". Many of the tracks on this new album, including the Saunter, "Left Bank Two", which was the theme tune from the children’s art TV series Take Hart, have a different modern feel to them, more instrumental, moving away from the traditional sound we associate with keyboards, which I really like. I know Larry has worked very hard on this release and finding new tracks to record is never easy. The title track "Fields of Gold" is inspiring to dance to and this album really highlights Larry’s exceptional and unique musical ability.

 Richard Keeling - A Perfect Night, brings together 24 splendid tracks from across the decades, including the Brit Award winning single "Shine", by Take That, as a quickstep and Shirley Bassey’s 1967 hit, "Big Spender", uniquely as a tango. Richard has also re-arranged the fabulous tango track "Sombras", removing the additional 2-bar highlight during the centre of number to bring it entirely in sequence. The title for this CD is taken from the waltz track "A Perfect Night For Dreaming". This is a beautiful enchanting piece of standard waltz music that has often been used by winners at inventive dance competitions and is played superbly. For those Latin lovers Richard has chosen the cha cha track "Hot Stuff" to lead the album and included the unforgettable final dance number from the Dirty Dancing movie, "Time of My Life", as a rumba, both excellent. My personal favourite is the T Rex tune, "I Love to Boogie", and the guitar riff during the 4th sequence really gets those feet tapping.

 Richard Keeling - Any Dream Will Do
The latest CD form organist Richard Keeling, titled Any Dream Will Do, proves once again what a fine musician he is. His easy style and accomplished playing provide an attractive sound, which is very popular with sequence dancers. With all 22 tracks in sequence it includes two beautiful ballroom waltzs, firstly the classic Judy Garland song from the Wizard of Oz, “Over the Rainbow” and the Elvis Presley hit “Can’t help falling in Love” from the 1961 film Blue Hawaii. Rumba tracks are one of Richards’s specialities and this release includes four superb songs. The Andy Williams track “I Will Wait For You”, “You Raise Me Up” previously covered by Irish pop group Westlife, “Wind Beneath My Wings” and Eric Clapton’s, “Wonderful Tonight”. The swing tunes, “Tavern Medley” and “The Beer Barrel Polka”, also known as “Roll Out The Barrel”, provide everyone with the opportunity to join in and sing-along.
